I truly haven’t had a lot of time to use my new food processor due to illness in the family.
I would be willing to be contacted again in about 6 months. I can’t speak to whether it is safe or not, at this time.

BUY THE 11 CUP OR BETTER ,YOU WILL FIND THAT IT DOES EVERY JOB PERFECT….THE SMALLER ONES JUST DONT’CUT IT…THE EXTRA MONEY REALLY PAYS OFF…

It has been a pleasure using it. My only regret is that I did not buy one sooner.

I haven’t received my order yet but based it on Comsumer Digest’s report rating this unit as number one in their publication of December 2006.
